It's been a while since the last update but I've got a bunch of irons in the fire. The following are pieces in progress for the series "Post Mortem." Enjoy . . . feedback is always appreciated and encouraged :)
"Blind Hubris," graphite on Rives BFK
"Sacrifice," charcoal on vellum
"Sacrifice II," mixed media
"Salome," oil on canvas
"St. Bartholomew 2008," oil on canvas

Is that first one for sale? Available for trade? Print Trade?
Thanks guys . . . Lampert, cool blog. I like the random headings (or are they).
Kevinsped . . . the first one is for sale but I'm holding out on selling it until I exhibit the "Post Mortem" series. I'll let you know when it goes up plus it's not even done yet. If you still want it then I'll give you a deal.
In the mean time I can send you a high quality print when it's done. Just e-mail me your new address. I wouldn't mind having a good print of one of your pieces as well.
Man Rob, I like the painting of the horse and anatomical reference figure. I like Salome too, there's just something so disturbing about that shoe on the model's foot!
I am an artist and educator living in the Pacific Northwest. I currently teach at DigiPen Institute of Technology. Prior to teaching here, I was a teacher and chairman of the Fine Arts Department at a private school in Boston. I received my undergrad degree in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art, and my grad degree in Illustration was completed at Syracuse University. Although I'm devoted primarily to teaching, I occasionally exhibit my work and have had the opportunity to see my work in print as a graphic designer and an illustrator. In 1999 I was an award winner in the Illustrators of the Future competition hosted by Bridge Publications in Los Angeles, California. In 2000 I was awarded Juror's Choice in the Falmouth Artists' Guild's fall, open juried exhibition. Since then I ain't won nuthin'. Thank you and goodnight. Looking great, Rob. Top one is definitely my favorite out of the bunch.
